Paso Robles Wineries
Below is a selection of some of the wineries that are on your tour in the beautiful Paso Robles. Here you will find award winning, quality wines hand-crafted for your enjoyment. Our professional driver guides will help you understand the finer points of wine tasting and the wine making process. You never know, you might even become an expert by the end of the journey.
Whether you prefer red wines, white wines or specific varietals, you will find a great selection to appeal to every taste.

Adelaida
Adelaida's wines begin at the roots, pushing through the rocky limestone soils on the west side of Paso Robles on California's Central Coast. The winery, which originated in 1981, is located 14 miles east of the Pacific Ocean at an elevation of 1,800 feet in the Santa Lucia mountain chain.
Adelaida produces from its own Estate vineyards and a select group of contracted vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles. Amongst its holdings are the two principal estate properties, Viking Vineyard and HMR Vineyard. The mighty Viking Vineyard was planted in 1992 and is now producing great Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Calcareous Vineyard
The vision of three motivated people helped make Calcareous Vineyard a reality. Lloyd Messer sold his wine and beer distributing business in Sioux City, Iowa, to search for the ideal growing region for his vineyard sites. He recognized Paso Robles, California, as an emerging premium wine producing area.
We have the land, weather, sunshine, vines, and winemaker, creating the optimal conditions for the development of the best possible wines. Most importantly, it is our pleasure to offer you what the ancient Greeks called "the gift of the gods".

Castoro Cellars
The husband and wife team of Niels and Bimmer Udsen established Castoro Cellars with the goal of producing world-class wines from Paso Robles-appellation grapes. Each vintage presents a new challenge and Niels is more than willing to constantly and creatively experiment. This on-going research is only one of the things that ensures they meet their goal.
Niels' long-time nickname "Beaver," evolved further when he was working in Italy and his friends soon took to calling him "Il Castoro," which is beaver in Italian. The name and the motto stuck. Castoro Cellars' "dam fine wines" sport a picture of a beaver on each label.

Cass Vineyards
Cass Vineyards and Winery is located in the rolling, oak-studded hills between Paso Robles and Creston on California's beautiful Central Coast. This area that the vineyard calls home offers quiet serenity for the visitor and a perfect growing season for wine grapes. Sited due east of the “Templeton Gap”, we receive the evening's cooling breezes that the west side of Paso Robles is noted for.
One hundred percent of the wines crafted at Cass Winery are Estate Grown. Our vineyard surrounds our Tasting Room and winery. You can literally touch, taste, see and smell the grapes from the block where they were harvested.

Dunning Vineyard
Robert had been producing great wine from Paso Robles vineyards non-commercially for years. But grapes were getting harder and harder to find and Robert was quickly outgrowing his sources. He wanted complete control from the vineyard to the bottle in an effort to produce only the finest wines.
In 1991 Bob and his wife Jo-Ann began planting their own vineyard with Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in the hills west of Paso Robles. They later added Zinfandel and Syrah. According to Robert they are not completely done. We want the 'right grape for the area.'

Eagle Castle Winery
All of our wines are crafted with Paso Robles' fruit. The grapes are sourced from six separate vineyards, totaling approximately 750 acres, located on both the west and east sides of Paso Robles. This arrangement allows for a variety of blending options, while taking advantage of the individual microclimates of the Paso Robles appellation.
Whether you are in the area to enjoy wine-tasting or planning your next celebration at Eagle Castle Winery, we hope your visit is ‘A Royal Experience.’

Opolo Vineyards
They say good fences make good neighbors, but it was a love of wine and winemaking that was the entrée between Opolo owners Rick Quinn and Dave Nichols. Their two families have lived side-by-side in Camarillo since 1996. As Nichols remembers, "I knew Rick to say hello to, but that was about it. Then one day, he said to me, ‘Hey Dave, I just planted 10,000 grapevines!’ "And so began the evolution of Opolo, one of Paso Robles’ newest labels.
Quinn and Nichols have been neighbors in two counties since 1997 when Nichols bought vineyard property adjoining Quinn’s. Together they now own about 280 acres of vineyards in Paso Robles, about 200 acres on the Eastside and 80 on the Westside.

Grey Wolf Cellars
Family owned and operated, the winery facility and tasting room lie on approximately 12 acres of land overlooking rolling hills, pastures, and oak studded meadows, formerly known as Green Valley.
The Barton family preserved and converted a 60 year-old farmhouse into the Grey Wolf tasting room.

Pear Valley Vineyards
Located in Paso Robles, California, one of the fastest growing vineyard and wine areas in the state. The Paso Robles area is famous for the diurnal temperature variation and the peaceful beauty.
The diurnal temperature variation is due to the unique location near enough to the Pacific Ocean to produce the cool evenings and yet having high temperatures and maximum sunlight exposure during the day. Our grapes are able to hang on the vine to full ripeness, a characteristic which then manifests itself delightfully in our wine.

PerCazo Cellars
Per Cazo is an Italian derivation of "By Chance". That may be how you found us and are glad you did. Per Cazo Cellars is a boutique, family winery dedicated to handcrafted wines--elegant, sophisticated, and without pretense. Our wines, produced in limited quantities, reflect the styles of Rhone and Bordeaux and are made in the distinctive terrior of Westside Paso Robles on the central coast of California.
It was a series of chance encounters that led the Teckmans to establish Per Cazo Cellars. We looked up and down the California Coast and even into Oregon, but in the end we decided to locate Per Cazo Cellars in Paso Robles. Only a few miles in from the beautiful Central California coast, nestled into the western hills, Paso Robles offers the life style of a small town with local wine making expertise to rival any world wide.

Zenaida Cellars
Located in the Templeton Gap area, west of Paso Robles, at the base of the Santa Lucia Mountains.
The 36 acre property is made up of 22 acres of rolling vineyards with the remaining acreage made up of open space, wooded areas and the winery building. You can see Hell Block Syrah along 46 as you travel west of the winery entrance. The Zinfandel surrounds the winery building.

Wild Coyote Winery
Gianni Manucci grew up in California, became an architect, and pursued a more creative balance to his life through stone sculpturing. But, his true roots in grape farming began in Europe over three generations ago which inspired him to get back to his roots in 1995. His hands-on personal skills shine in this beautiful 40-acre hillside vineyard, and his UC-Davis viticulture education has gained him many winemaking awards.
Located on the Central Coast of California, which is about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Whalebone Vineyard
Whalebone Vineyard derives its name from the many whale and marine fossils trapped in the vineyards’ broken shale and limestone.
In 1989, on this hillside reminiscent of a moonscape, the Simpson Family planted this distinctive property exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the vines have lost their youthful exuberance and are gracefully transforming into a harmonious, low vigor vineyard, which needs little manipulation to produce low yields and high concentration required for quality wine.

Norman Vineyards
Norman Vineyards, a small family owned winery in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. We’ve been growing grapes here for over 30 years, and making wine for over 15. Our specialty over the years has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels, Barbera, and Chardonnay. Along the way we’ve thrown in a few small production wines to keep it interesting, and now, Syrah, which joined our lineup in 2002

Nadeau Family Vinters
An estate micro-winery located in the Santa Lucia Mountains four miles west of Paso Robles. Our tiny winery produces small lots of genuinely hand-crafted wines, carefully guided through their development by Owners/Vintners Robert and Patrice Nadeau.
Specializing in huge, mountain-grown Zinfandel wines, and the more austere red Rhone Varietals, when you visit us be ready for our full-blown red wines, generous in varietal character and gout de terroir.

Villicana Winery
Enjoy the limited production, award-winning wines produced by our family owned and operated winery. We produce fewer than 1,800 cases per year, which allows proprietors Alex and Monica Villicana to handcraft each vintage and create a superior wine.
We personally planted our 13 acre vineyard and continue to farm it with an emphasis on maintaining low yields which produce intensely concentrated fruit. By doing this we are able to ensure that only premium grapes are used to produce our memorable Estate wines.
